This volume, of 192 pages, covers about 1000 years of Persian literary history from the poet Roodaki (died c.940 a.d.) to the Qajar period. Extensive quotations are given from 30 of the most important poets of the classical traditions, giving examples of what each poet said about Christ and Christianity. These texts are accompanied by a short biographical account of each writer. This book has an index of names of persons and places.
